Every groom is quoted before you leave the dog: size, coat, what we will do, what it costs, and what we will call you about first.
About the salon
A salon run by your groomer
One location, one owner-groomer, a team of four. No conveyor belt and no rushed tables: the person who takes your dog at the door is the person who quotes the groom and its price.
Owner and master groomer
Tasha Nguyen, master groomer
Tasha opened Happy Paws Grooming in 2019 after seven years running the grooming floor at a busy chain. She still takes the first groom of every new dog herself, and she keeps Saturday mornings for walk-ins, puppies and the nervous ones.
Twelve years grooming dogs and cats
Fear-free certified, with pet first aid and CPR
Trained in hand-scissoring and breed-standard cuts

What we promise
Three rules the salon runs on.
Prices before drop-off
Every groom is quoted by size and coat before you leave the dog. If the coat needs more work than we thought, we call you before we start, never after.
Nothing rushed
An anxious dog gets breaks and the quiet room. If a dog is not coping, we stop and call you rather than finish the cut.
Plain words
At pick-up you hear what we did, what we found on the skin or ears, and when the next groom makes sense. Nothing is sold at the counter.
